Spain collect first two points

One of the favorites in Group A of 2019 IHF World Youth’s Championship, Spain, collect first two points after they win against Saudi Arabia, 36-21 (15-10).

Spain decided the winner in the first half. They started with lead of five goals, 5-0, and kept until the break, 15-10. The Saudi Arabian head coach tried with many changes to interrupt the rhythm of the Spain guys, but that wasn’t successful.

The second half was copy of the first, the Spaniards increase the lead and the head coach of Spain, Alberto Suarez, start to think about the next opponent. Mosquera from Spain get red card for non-sportive foul, but this wasn’t a problem for his teammates to finish the match without problems.

The best scorer in Spain was the left wing Alex Garcia Pascual with eight goals and the best scorer in Saudi Arabia was Hamdi with six goals. The MVP of the match was Garcia Pascual from Spain.

Alberto Suarez (Spain): It is never easy to win on the first match on World Championship. We arrived yesterday, had a long journey. I am satisfied for this win, i gave minutes on the court of many players from the squad.

Ahmed Nabil (Saudi Arabia): We didn’t had many information for the Spain team. My players are not experienced, they play for first time on World Championship an that was the decisive thing for the big win of Spain.
