Portugal shocked the Germans

GERMANY – PORTUGAL 26:33 (15:18) 

What a second match in Boris Trajkovski Arena today! Portugal made the first surprise on the 2019 IHF Men’s Youth World Championship with win, 26:33 (15:18) against Germany in group D.

Germany had better opening of the match (6:2) but Portuguese players come back in the game and after 9:11 they controlled the game. Germans got one more chance (13:13), but after that the opponent made high advantage 13:18, and then went with 15:18 on a break.

Portugal was determent, played better in defense and in offense and got the two points from this match.
