Denmark stood on Macedonian National Team winning streak and brings second defeat for them (11:13) in World Youth Championship group stage in Boris Trajkovski Arena in Skopje.
The strong defensive line of the Danes, as well as their goalkeeper Svend Rughave (finishing the first half with 10 saves) created a lot of problems for Macedonians, 1:3, 2:5. Home team menage to come back in the game and took the lead, 6: 5, but once again Rughave made the difference. The Danes again drew 6:9, as well as the highest +4 (8:12), and went on a brake with, 11:13 lead.
Bad opening the sequel for MKD team, a lot of technical errors in the attack and Denmark made 13:19, 20:26 advantage ten minutes until the end. Macedonians showed new energy in the last minutes, came close at 25:27, but didn’t use the chances and had to accept the second defeat in the group.
